RIP Kenneth Minogue

Postby Elliott » 02 Jul 2013, 00:44

I was saddened earlier to read of the death over the weekend of Kenneth Minogue, an academic writer of rare lucidity and honesty. I haven't read as much of his material as I would like (our current Book Club reading is of his 1963 work The Liberal Mind) but have greatly enjoyed his essays Morals & the servile mind and Are the British a servile people?. No doubt other people will have their favourite articles by Prof. Minogue and I hope they will see fit to link to them from here.

RIP Kenneth Minogue, 1930-2013.
