Peter Hitchens on Russia and Intervention

Postby Mike » 29 Dec 2013, 00:34

I mentioned on another thread that Peter Hitchens often has a great deal to contribute, but that he shoots himself in the foot by appearing so instantly censorious and antagonistic. Well, here he is in non-antagonistic mode, talking about Putin, Russia and the principle of international intervention, and he is absolutely absorbing (not to mention erudite, thoughtful and, in my opinion, right all along the line). It's an hour and a half in duration but well worth watching to the very end. Outstanding.

I saw this the other day from another website. It's very good. It was a shame about all the coughing from members of the audience.
